Toffee Brownies

Ingredients

3 (6 oz) bars candy bars with almonds and toffee chips
1 (17.6 oz) package and ingredients required on the package brownie mix with walnuts

Directions

Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions.

Line a 13 by 9-inch cake pan with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil cooking spray. Spoon in half of the brownie batter and smooth with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Place the candy bars side by side on top of the batter. Cover with the remaining batter.

Bake according to package directions. Let cool completely, then lift from the pan using the edges of the foil. This makes it easy to cut the brownies into squares. Makes about 24 large/48 small brownies.

Oh these are good!!! I made them the other night to take to our pool-team and they went FAST!! I will say that when using a 9x13" pan, it at first seems there isn't enough batter to make it all the way - but trust the recipe because there is indeed enough. I only baked mine for 30 minutes and they came out more perfect than I could have asked for! I've already got people asking when I'm going to make another batch, which is always a good sign! This recipe is definitely a keeper plus it's easy and quick to make!! xoxo

I'm searching on line for your receipe on April 17 show for a frozen desert made with ice cream sandwiches, bananas, cherries, chocolate sryup topping and other ingrdients. Did not get a chance to write it all down. Any way I can get receipe? Henrietta

Help! I bought Ghirardelli double chocolate brownies 18 oz for your toffee brownies got home and the box said it is for an 8x8 pan. Do I need another box?

That should still work out for the recipe! They just would be a bit thinner than if using the 8x8.
