fry wings in butter? Then what is buffalo sauce for? Butter & hot sauce? That's blue cheese . ???

I'm guessing, typoon the ingredients list, second to last "for frying oil" Frying oil is an ingredient of its own. The directions are generic, but they mean to fry the wing in frying oil. The buffalo sauce (butter & hot sauce mix) is for coating the wings after they have been fried, and dipping sauce is your choice, ranch, blue cheese, whatev. Good luck hope this helped.
