Sweet Sausages

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) package smoked sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups maple syrup

Directions

Cut sausage into 1-inch rounds. Place in large skillet over medium heat and add the maple syrup. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve piping hot.

Cook’s Note: Sausages can be cooked in a crock-pot on low for 2 hours.

I am diabetic, need sweet recipes using Splenda for Thanksgiving and Christmas...any suggestions. I don't see any of you using Spenda for diabetis

I used a fully cooked sausage and pancake syrup as Paula suggested on her show. I was delightly suprised at how great this was. Diana
