Difficulty: Easy

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 5 minutes

Servings: 5

Ingredients

  • to taste pepper
  • 1 (24 oz) jar with liquid dill pickle spears
  • 2 lbs chuck roast
  • 2 cups prepared sweet cole slaw
  • 8 soft sandwich buns

Directions

Place chuck roast in a slow cooker and pour entire contents of dill pickle jar over it. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours. Season to taste with pepper. Pull apart meat with a fork. To serve, place 1/4 cup of cole slaw on each of 8 soft sandwich buns. Top with some of the pickled beef and serve!

Paula’s Note: Cook the pickled beef while no one is home as the smell is quite pungent.

I want to pin this recipe but there are no pictures of the food to pin. Making your recipes "pinnable" would really get this website connected! Love your stuff, Miss Paula and am going to cook this one next week! :)
