New Bride Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 22 ounces tomato soup
  • 2 cups potatoes, chopped into 1-inch cubes
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 15 ounces carrots
  • 15 ounces green beans
  • 15 ounces corn
  • 16 ounces navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot. Brown ground beef until cooked through. Add onions and cook for 5 minutes. Add in 1 cup water. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Add in more water if necessary.
