Ingredients

  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 400 °F F.

In a pie plate or platter, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, thyme, basil, oregano, salt, garlic powder and red pepper. Dip the chicken strips in the melted butter, then dredge them in the breadcrumbs mixture. Place the chicken strips in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet. I cannot wait to try this out on my family! I have some Panko crumbs that I think will taste marvelous with this recipe. Paula, have you ever tried that instead of the seasoned breadcrumbs? I'm so looking forward to tasting this! Thank you for posting such a yummy-looking recipe!

If your looking to cut out the bread crumbs try using Planko breading. They have 3 kinds that I know of Lemon-Pepper, Italian and Plain. It gives that right crunch and texture. Try it you will love it......
