Hot Spinach-Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 10-ounce package cooked in the microwave on high for 5 minutes frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 13 3/4-ounce cans drained and chopped in a food processor artichoke hearts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup grated pepper jack cheese

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 °F F.

Grease a casserole dish with a non-stick spray. Combine all of the ingredients but jack cheese in a large bowl. Stir well with a metal spoon. Sprinkle jack cheese on top. Place in the prepared casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes. Transfer to a chafing dish. Keep warm over a low flame. Serve with bagel chips. Makes about 4 cups.

This is SOOO good!! Easy to make also. I added about 1/2 teaspoon or better to it, just to spice it up a little!

I am visit my bff in Gadsden Alabama... I wanted 2 know if she had tried fried green tomatoes... she did...she cooked me sum later that evening...they were OK but I was xpctn sumthn more, what, I don't know...so I told her Google paula dean for her recipe bcuz I'm sure she used a diff batter bcuz hers looked diff...my buff used just salt pepper cornmeal....when we saw Paula's recipe I was like see we need to use hers, look at her tomatoes.... it is on tnite...went to market got more tomatoes & all ingredients for batter....wlll chk back in later to let u know how it tasted which I'm sure is going to be devine....mouth watering alrdy....

What size casserole dish for the hot spinach and artichoke dip and what's a chafing dish

You could probably use a 9x9 dish, but we would recommend using your best judgement on what size it will fit best in. Also, a chafing dish is a type of food warmer that uses metal pans sitting inside another metal pan with water inside. And there are typically candles or little lamp-type flames underneath to keep it warm!
