Honey Bun Cake

Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup oil
  • 4 large eggs

Topping

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Glaze

  • 2 cups 4x confectioner's sugar
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 350˚F.

For the cake, mix the yellow cake mix, with the sour cream, oil, and eggs for 1 minute, plus 2 more. Pour into a prepared 13x9x2 pan.

Next, combine the honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon to make the topping.  Swirl it into the batter or simply sprinkle it on top.

Bake for 38-40 minutes.

While the cake is baking, combine all the glaze ingredients together. Pour the glaze over warm cake, letting it sit and melt into the cake.
