Ingredients

  • ham skin
  • fine salt

Directions

Preheat oven at 325 °F.

Put leftover ham skin on a sheet pan and sprinkle with salt. Bake until nice and crispy, usually about 3 hours.

I'm sorry, but, I've never heard of ham skin (baked onion rings). What is it?

Pork rinds are made from the actual skin on the hog. My granny used to make these when they butchered their own hogs. Her kids loved them. You would probably have to go somewhere that butchered pigs or you might be able to get the meat dept. at your local grocer to get it for you.
