JUMP TO RECIPE

Difficulty: Easy

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 15-17 minutes

Servings: 4 to 6

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough, left at room temperature for 1 hour
  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • large pitted olives
  • 8 to 10 deli slices of provolone fresh mozzarella cheese

Directions

On a greased baking sheet, spread out the dough to your desired thickness.

Spread pizza sauce on top of the dough, leaving a ½-inch border around the edge of the pizza. Bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

Meanwhile, cut the cheese into spooky shapes—ghosts, pumpkins, cats, or anything you like! Cut the olives in half and slice half of each olive into 8 slices. Cut some of the olives into smaller pieces to make eyes, mouths, pumpkin stems, etc.

Remove the pizza from the oven and top with the cheese ghosts that have been decorated with the olive pieces. Use the half olives to make bodies for the spiders, and the smaller slices to make spider legs.

Bake for another 30-60 seconds to slightly melt the cheese—don’t keep it in for too long or else the spooky shapes will run.
