Cinnamon Toast Pecans

Cook time: 1 hour

Servings: 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups (about 1 lb) pecan halves

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 °F. Stir together first 5 ingredients. Add pecans, tossing to coat. Spread coated nuts in a single layer on a large jellyroll pan. Bake for one hour stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool; store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks. Yields about 4 cups.

Do you heat on stovetop the butter, syrup, and sugar until sugar is dissolvedd?

I just made a batch of cinnamon toast pecans, omg soooo delicious!!! want to try a spicy pecan batch next time, any suggestions? Thanks Paula love watching your shows!

do I heat the first five ingredients first?

Do I need to heat the sugar, cinnamon, care syrup and butter until the sugar is somewhat melted?

No, simply mix the ingredients together as they are listed. When they go in the oven, the sugar will melt.
