Cherry Cream Cheese Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz) package at room temperature cream cheese
  • 1 (9 inch) graham cracker crust
  • 1 (21 oz) can chilled cherry pie filling

Directions

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add the milk; stir until well blended. Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla. Pour the filling into the crust and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Top with the pie filling before serving.

Very easy pie! When you don't have time and need something fast and delicious... It's my go to dessert! Just be careful with the lemon if you put too much even by a little it will taste too sour and overpower the cream flavor.

I tried this recipe loved it also enter this pie in a pie bake off came 3rd I was pleased

Has anyone had a problem with their pie not setting? I followed the recipe, but substituted for low fat cream cheese. I was going to take the pie to a dinner party tonight. I guess I will be picking something up on the way, bummer...
