Ingredients
- 8 jalapeño peppers, whole
- ¼ cup cheddar or Boursin cheese spread
- 8 slices thin bacon
- oil, for spraying
Directions
Place jalapeño peppers in air fryer basket. Set temperature to 400˚F. Cook for 4 minutes. Let peppers sit in air fryer for 5 minutes. Remove peppers from basket, peel off loosened skins, then slice each pepper in half lengthwise. With a sharp knife, remove membranes and seeds and rinse well. Pat dry with paper towels.
Fill each half pepper with one teaspoon or more of cheese spread and wrap with bacon strip. Secure bacon with toothpick.
Working in batches of 6, spray stuffed peppers with oil and place in air fryer basket. Set temperature to 400˚F, and air fry for 5 minutes. Turn peppers, spray with oil, and air fry for 4 minutes more, or until bacon is desired doneness. Repeat with remaining peppers.
