Meal of the Week: Deep-Fried Thanksgiving

If you have the equipment, determination and fortitude for the job, you can prepare a Deep-Fried Thanksgiving for your loved ones with our carefully curated menu. Okay, not every single item is deep fried, but every recipe does include at least one fried ingredient; and we don’t recommend making this entire menu as-is. But picking one or two recipes from this menu that appeal the most to you can help make your holiday deliciously decadent.

Our menu features plenty of deep-fried vittles, including Deep-Fried Turkey and Deep-Fried Ham in the entree section; Deep-Fried Stuffing on a Stick, Deep-Fried Cranberry Sauce Fritters, Deep-Fried Mac and Cheese, Fried Green Bean Bundles, Inside Out Sweet Potatoes and Corn Fritters in the sides section; Fried Oyster Spoons in the appetizer section; and Fried Apple Hand Pies in the desserts section.

Still fried, just not as deeply, are items like Fried Green Tomato Salad With Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing and Pecan Crusted Fried Brie With Raspberry Sauce appetizers, Fried Creamed Corn and Smashed Potato Cake sides, and Fried Pumpkin Layer Cake for dessert. They round out the meal selections nicely, even if they’re not totally deep-fried.
