Make your Christmas the most wonderful time of the year with our favorite holiday meal recipes. We’re nearly to Christmas Day, and along with the gifts, twinkling lights, and carols, we also have Christmas dinner with our loved ones. We wanted to help y’all take some of the stress out of planning your holiday meal by providing classic holiday meal recipes for Christmas dinner, so that you can enjoy this special supper the way it was meant to be—relaxing and laughing with those that mean the most to you.
While you can always start the meal with some appetizers, like our Bacon Pinwheels or a Walnut-Praline Brie and Fruit Platter, if you’re anything like us, you’ll have plenty of food already on the menu. We like to start with a salad, and while many people skip the greens to get onto the good stuff, not many will pass up on this Warm Apple and Goat Cheese Salad, especially when served with a Quick Cloverleaf Roll.
For the entrée, there are so many different preferences. Some people like ham, some beef, and some opt for another turkey dinner. Whichever your family prefers, our options are out-of-this-world good. And because you’ve got to have a side, we like classics, like Honey Balsamic Green Beans, Cranberry-Pineapple Gelatin Salad, Buttery Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, and Cornbread, Leek, and Bacon Pudding.
If your guests still have room after all that for dessert (spoiler: they’ll make room!), we absolutely adore this German Chocolate Cake with Coconut-Custard Filling and Paula’s Old-Fashioned Sweet Potato Pie. Now that’s a sweet finish to a classic Christmas dinner. Let the countdown to Christmas begin!
Happy holidays everyone!
