Brat and Bean Casserole

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 pound bratwurst
- 2 16-ounce cans baked beans
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a 4-quart ovenproof pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion; saute for 7 to 10 minutes or until golden. Add bratwurst; saute for 5 to 7 minutes or until brown.
Add baked beans and bring to a simmer. Top with the bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, about 40 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
