Breakfast Pizza Casserole

Servings: 12-15

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350˚F. Spray a 13×9 pan with oil.

Unroll crescent dough and press in the bottom of the pan, closing the seams. Bake for 6-7 minutes, until it puffs up and is slightly brown.

Meanwhile, brown the sausage and drain off the fat. Put sausage on top of baked crescent roll crust. Mix half of the cheese in with the beaten eggs and pour over the sausage. Bake for 20 minutes, then check to see if it’s done. If it jiggles, cook approximately 5 minutes more.

When done, top the breakfast pizza with remaining cheese and bake just long enough to melt cheese.

Cool slightly before cutting into squares to serve.
