- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- orange food coloring
- 4 balloons
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips
Graveyard Pudding
- 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup + 4 tablespoons powdered sugar, divided
- 3 teaspoons vanilla, divided
- 16 ounces heavy whipping cream
- 2 (3.3-ounce) boxes of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips
- 4-8 Milano cookies
Directions
Chocolate Jack-o'-Lantern Bowls
Inflate 4 small balloons until the side without the knot is the size you’d like your bowl.
Melt white chocolate chips in a large bowl in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is smooth and melty. Drop in a few drops of orange food coloring and mix well.
Dip the side of the balloons without the knot, one at a time, in the chocolate, ensuring it is evenly coated and the edges of the bowl line up properly. Gently place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow them to cool and set for about an hour.
Once the white chocolate bowls are ready for decorating, melt the milk chocolate chips in a large bowl in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is smooth and melty. Use the chocolate and an artist’s brush to paint on a face. Allow to set for 10 minutes before gently popping the balloon and removing from the bowl.
Graveyard Pudding
Use a food processor to crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs.
Beat together cream cheese and butter, then add 1 cup of powdered sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
In a chilled bowl, beat together the heavy whipping cream, the remaining 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla until soft peaks form.
In another bowl, mix together the pudding mixes, milk, and remaining 1 teaspoon of vanilla until thickened.
Melt the milk chocolate chips in a large bowl in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is smooth and melty. Use the chocolate and an artist’s brush to paint the Milano cookies to look like gravestones.
To assemble the dessert in the white chocolate jack-o’-lantern bowls, layer with some of the crushed cookies, the cream cheese mixture, the whipped topping, and more of the crushed cookies. Stick 1 or 2 of the painted cookies vertically in the top of the dessert like gravestones.
