Peel and Eat Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs large shells on shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons crab boil seasoning
  • 1 sliced into wedges lemon
  • cocktail sauce

Directions

Add 8 cups water and crab boil seasoning to a large pot. Bring to a boil and stir in shrimp. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 15 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink. Drain and serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce.

My husband has always boiled the shrimp so I wasn't sure what the "secret" recipe might be. Followed this one and they turned out perfectly. Thank you!!

2 cups of ketchup 1/4 cup prepared horseradish 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon hot sauce Juice of 1 lemon 1/2 teaspoon pepper Directions In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients. Cover and chill until ready to serve. You can store this sauce in a sealed container or a squeeze bottle and refrigerate for us to a week.
